“#NYC street vendor stabbed by armed robber<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A 49-year-old street vendor was stabbed in Midtown Sunday night during a fight with a knife-wielding thief, sources said.<\/p>\n

The victim was injured at around 7 p.m. when a man stole a handbag and attempted to flee the scene at West 50th Street and Broadway, according to police.<\/p>\n

The vendor ran after the suspect to retrieve the merchandise. The suspect, described as 20 years old, stabbed the man in the leg.<\/p>\n

The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital and listed in stable condition.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
