No, Fear The Walking Dead<\/em> fans, you\u2019re not dreaming!<\/p>\n

AMC announced that Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) is set to make her return to Fear<\/em> in the second half of Season 7, which returns on April 17, 2022. Even better, Dickens will continue as a series<\/a> regular in Season 8. So, Madison\u2019s not just back for an episode or two \u2014 she\u2019s back for good<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Of Madison\u2019s return, TWDU Chief Content Officer Scott Gimple said: \u201cIf there were a Mt. Deadmore, Kim Dickens\u2019 face would be on it. Madison Clark is a foundational character to TWDU \u2014 heroic, complex, an everyperson who becomes a warrior and then a force of benevolence. Kim Dickens\u2019 raw talent, strength, and brilliance will electrify TWDU once more and we couldn\u2019t be luckier to have her back.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time it aired in Season 4\u2019s midseason finale, \u201cNo One\u2019s Gone,\u201d Madison\u2019s sacrifice to save her friends and family at the Dell Diamond baseball stadium seemed to be conclusive. Showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg even confirmed she was dead<\/a>. However, because her death was never shown on-screen and the circumstances of her end were survivable (just climb the wall!), many were convinced she wasn\u2019t gone\u2026 and with this news<\/a>, it seems they were right.<\/p>\n

AMC has also released a teaser trailer and plot synopsis for 7B, which you can watch and read below. It doesn\u2019t mention how Madison factors into the second batch of eight episodes, but for now, we\u2019re guessing she could be leading the mysterious Padre.<\/p>\n
