Jay Park opened up his verse with \u201c<em>Apa Kabar, it\u2019s Jay Park,<\/em>\u201d which is Malay for \u201cHow are you, it\u2019s Jay Park,\u201d and went on to rap, \u201c<em>Respect to FORCEPARKBOIS from Johor Bahru \/ H1GHR Music, hip hop \/ We connected by the booth<\/em>,\u201d and \u201c<em>We flying high like a kite \/ We unite Asian pride.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Day6\u2019s eaJ also wrote a comment on the music video, \u201cThis hook goes crazy holy shit.\u201d Korean and Malaysian fans alike celebrated the remix, which turned out to be a surprise. FORCEPARKBOIS tells <em>HipHopDX Asia <\/em>that they had no idea that Jay Park and H1GHR Music artists would rework their hit track. \u201cIt started with a comment on YouTube where Jay Park commented on the original \u2018LOTUS\u2019 music video. At the time, we [thought] that [he] just wanna show love but didn\u2019t expect him to drop the remix for real. Shoutout to Joe Flizzow. He\u2019s one of the reason (sic) this remix is happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"@FORCEPARKBOISWORLDWIDE - LOTUS\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5Odc52bEZH4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>In a call with Joe Flizzow, he told <em>HipHopDX Asia <\/em>that he and Park \u201ctalk about building bridges through music.\u201d Jay Park was featured <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YbXRsoITi5w&amp;t=12s\">on Joe Flizzow\u2019s \u201cCIAO\u201d<\/a> earlier this year, along with MK of K-Clique.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI sent him the link to \u2018LOTUS,\u2019 and he really liked it. The bigger props should go to Jay Park himself. For me, it was about sharing good music. It was all Jay Park who initiated it. I think it\u2019s a big look for Malaysian hip hop,\u201d he shared. \u201cIt\u2019s important to keep empowering and to protect Malaysian music, [it] doesn\u2019t matter who they are or which label they\u2019re from. Whoever is holding the torch, we gotta protect, like the Olympic torch. Shoutout to Jay Park.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For FORCEPARKBOIS, the experience is surreal. \u201cWe\u2019re gasssssedddddd. We talk about this for hours long. Even as we answer this question, we\u2019re still talking about it.\u201d Asked which countries they would like to see a \u201cLOTUS\u201d remix next, they said, \u201cThe UK, US, even though it\u2019s impossible.
