Today, we look at the lasting subliminal influence of Christopher Nolan\u2019s Inception.<\/em><\/p>\n<hr>\n<\/hr>\n<p>It\u2019s true: <strong><em>I<\/em><\/strong><em><strong>nception<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>is a decade old. Christopher Nolan\u2019s dream-within-a-dream heist premiered in 2010 and, if you\u2019ll recall, took pop culture by storm. From Satoshi Kon\u2019s dream detective <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/anime-manga\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"6\" title=\"Anime || Manga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anime<\/a> <em>Paprika\u00a0<\/em>to the snowy disc-like fortress of <em>On Her Majesty\u2019s Secret Service<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Inception\u00a0<\/em>is a fantastic way to explore the idea that everything (yes, everything) is a remix.<\/p>\n<p>In the video essay below, from The Royal Ocean Film Society, looks at how\u00a0<em>Inception<\/em>\u2018s two central ideas\u2014a multi-level simulation within a simulation and implanted memories\u2014are long-standing traditions in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> fiction.
