You can send invitations when creating new events, and you can also add guests to your existing events. We\u2019ll show you how to do that on desktop and mobile.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Google_Calendar_Invites_Work\"><\/span>How Google Calendar Invites Work<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Your guests do not need Google Calendar to receive your event invitations. This means you can send a Google Calendar invite to anyone as long as they have an <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/56002\/htg-explains-how-does-email-work\/\">email address.<\/p>\n<p>You can invite up to 200 people to an event. To add more guests, you will have to use <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/my-groups\">Google Groups<\/a>. This works the same as creating a new event and inviting people to it.<\/p>\n<p>You can do this on both your desktop and your mobile with pretty much the same steps.
