{"id":380068,"date":"2021-12-07T17:23:32","date_gmt":"2021-12-07T14:23:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/joe-buck-defends-helmet-catch-call-against-angry-giants-fans\/"},"modified":"2021-12-07T17:23:32","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T14:23:32","slug":"joe-buck-defends-helmet-catch-call-against-angry-giants-fans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/joe-buck-defends-helmet-catch-call-against-angry-giants-fans\/","title":{"rendered":"#Joe Buck defends helmet catch call against angry Giants fans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Joe Buck defends helmet catch call against angry Giants fans<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Joe Buck thinks he did the best he could, no matter what Giants fans say.<\/p>\n<p>The Fox play-by-play man defended his call of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_vKDygyOxH0\">David Tyree\u2019s helmet catch<\/a> \u2014\u00a0which the Giants fan base has long contended to be underwhelming \u2014\u00a0on Monday night\u2019s \u201cManningcast.\u201d It was a fitting topic of conversation given the man who threw the pass \u2014\u00a0Eli Manning \u2014 was one of the hosts, while the team he threw it against \u2014 the Patriots \u2014\u00a0were playing on \u201cMonday Night Football.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re up there and you know you\u2019re doing the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> for 100 million people, you\u2019ve to be really sure,\u201d Buck said of the famous Super Bowl XLII play that saved the Giants\u2019 game-winning drive in the 17-14 victory over an undefeated Patriots juggernaut.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>\u201cFirst of all, Eli gets no credit for getting out of that pile of bodies and even throwing the ball. And then all Giants fans are like \u2018Come on, Buck. I mean, the guy catches the ball on his helmet, give me a break, man.
