It\u2019s a communication device, a camera, a scanner, a fitness tracker, a camcorder, a GPS, a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> console \u2014 I could go on.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also a lot your phone can do that you would not think was possible.\u00a0Click for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.komando.com\/kims-column\/7-brilliant-smartphone-uses\/804906\/\">seven brilliant ways<\/a> your smartphone can help you get things done,\u00a0from measuring someone\u2019s height to remoting into your computer<\/p>\n<p>But sometimes, you just need to talk. If your service is spotty,\u00a0there are a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.komando.com\/kims-column\/ways-to-boost-signal-strength\/796842\/\">few ways<\/a> to boost your signal strength.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to texts, it\u2019s nice to know if your message went through and the person read it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"On_an_iPhone\"><\/span><strong>On an iPhone<\/strong>\u00a0<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le\u2019s default text messaging app, iMessage, makes it easy to know if your recipient has read your message. There is one caveat. Both the sender and recipient must be using iMessage on an iPhone or iPad and have Read Receipts enabled.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>When you text someone with Read Receipts turned on, you\u2019ll notice the word \u201cRead\u201d beneath your message, and the time it was opened.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To turn on your Read Receipts in the iMessage app, click\u00a0Settings, scroll down, and tap\u00a0Messages. Enable\u00a0Send Read Receipts. Instructions may vary according to your device\u2019s manufacturer, model, and operating system.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>First, open your Messages app and navigate to the settings. Depending on your phone model, operating system, and cellular provider, you will notice one of the following: Read Receipts, Send Read Receipts or Request Receipt. Turn on the applicable option.<\/p>\n<p>On a Samsung phone, go to\u00a0Messages\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Menu\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Settings\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Chat settings. Here, you can enable read receipts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In Google Messages, open\u00a0Messages. Tap the\u00a0three-dot menu\u00a0(More) &gt;\u00a0Settings\u00a0&gt;\u00a0Chat features. If you wish to turn them off at some point, sorry, Charlie. You can\u2019t. A sneaky workaround allows you to read messages without producing a read receipt.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Just turn off your Wi-Fi and cellular connection to read all received messages. Open the app, then turn on Airplane mode.
