It\u2019s true that most of the people who use Adobe\u2019s powerful suite of creativity software are professionals, but that doesn\u2019t mean that you need to be one to use it. In fact, Adobe just released <\/span>Creative Cloud Express<\/span><\/a> to make edits and more easy and app<\/a>roachable.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Creative Cloud Express app (<\/span>Android<\/span><\/a>\/<\/span>iOS<\/span><\/a>) is essentially just Adobe Spark rebranded, but they added a bunch of new functions and features, and simplified the interface. With the move, Adobe is hoping to better connect its software with amateur users. To do so, it\u2019s offering up easy-to-use templates, drag-and-drop functionality, and a ton of other features in a streamlined and (much) more approachable interface.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has a story to tell and it\u2019s our mission to empower everyone to express their ideas,\u201d said Scott Belsky, chief product officer and executive Vice President of Creative Cloud at Adobe. \u201cIn this unique time, where millions of people are building a personal and professional brand, we\u2019re excited to launch Creative Cloud Express as a simple, template-based tool that unifies the creation, collaboration and sharing process so anyone can create with ease.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In <\/span>Creative Cloud Express<\/span><\/a>, you\u2019ll have access to Adobe\u2019s enormous library of premium fonts, logos, licensed stock images, and thousands of pre-designed templates. It also makes it easy to work with more advanced editing tools you\u2019d see in applications like Photoshop\u2014such as the ability to work with layers or background removal\u2014without a steep learning curve.\u00a0<\/span>While anyone can use the app, it seems to be primarily aimed at folks running a small business or heading up social media<\/a> campaigns for clients, which is a great step for Adobe to take.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you log in, you can choose from templates, each of which is custom-designed for different services, like Instagram stories, YouTube thumbnails, flyers, book covers, menus, Facebook posts, and more. Once you select your template, you can easily adjust any features within it; for example, you can move around text or add and delete images.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you\u2019re an existing Creative Cloud subscriber, these apps are included and ready to use. If you aren\u2019t, it\u2019s no biggie. You can get started for free but accessing extra features\u2014such as Adobe\u2019s stock images\u2014will require you to pay the $9.99 monthly subscription fee. <\/span><\/p>\n
