Norway isn\u2019t a member of the 27-nation bloc but closely mirrors EU rules.<\/p>\n<p>Grindr said the agency\u2019s findings related to consent policies from years ago, not its current practices, and that it is considering its next steps, including an appeal.<\/p>\n<p>The data watchdog \u201crelies on a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of flawed findings, introduces many untested legal perspectives, and the proposed fine is therefore still entirely out of proportion with those flawed findings,\u201d said Grindr\u2019s chief privacy officer, Shane Wiley.<\/p>\n<p>In 2020, Norway\u2019s Consumer Council filed a complaint against Grindr for disclosing information about its users, including GPS locations, IP addresses, ages, gender and their use of the app, to several third parties for marketing purposes.
