At the moment, most analysts view the current price range as an optimal accumulation zone.<\/p>\n<p>For the past week, markets had been a bit rocky as investors across the globe grew increasingly nervous about Dec. 15&#8217;s Federal Open Market Committee meeting, but confirmation that the Federal Reserve would enact three rate hikes and gradual tapering in 2022 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to have been priced into last week&#8217;s market volatility.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tradingview.com\/\">TradingView<\/a> shows that the price of BTC continues to trade above the $47,000 support and after Chairman Powell&#8217;s statement, the price rose about 0.55% to trade at $49,000.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-12\/7c351d3d-e8b6-41f5-8eec-4960bb9b42d8.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USDT 4-hour chart. Source: TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Here\u2019s a look at what market analysts expect from BTC price now that the Fed&#8217;s policy intentions for 2022 were clarified.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"There_is_a_solid_base_of_support_near_46500\"><\/span>There is a solid base of support near $46,500<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A more detailed analysis of the recent price action was offered by options trader and pseudonymous <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> user John Wick, who <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/zerohedge_\/status\/1471131799195639821\">posted<\/a> the following chart highlighting the bullish and bearish reversals that have occurred over the past two weeks. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-12\/cb63cd4e-5cd3-43c0-a681-92d1e59e5a29.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USD 4-hour. Source: Twitter<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>According to Wick, the recent price action from BTC has established \u201ca solid base support,\u201d which is represented by the yellow horizontal line at $46,588, which is structurally \u201ccalled a stage 1 base.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wick said, <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe can expect volatility to build up as well. The next setup I am targeting is an upcoming squeeze. This may turn out just like July did after we based in a stage 1 support. Next stage is fire.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Volatility_is_par_for_the_course\"><\/span>Volatility is par for the course<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Compared to historical price action after all-time highs, the current volatility seen in the market is nothing to fret about, according to independent market analyst Rekt Capital who tweeted that the market showed similar drawdowns in previous bull markets only to storm higher after the fear dissipated.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The panic &amp; bearish sentiment towards <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BTC?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BTC<\/a> is extreme right now<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s nothing extreme about this -38% retrace<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, BTC has retraced 30-40% many times in Bull Markets<\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24BTC&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$BTC<\/a> retraced -53% this past May<\/p>\n<p>-38% isn\u2019t extreme<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Crypto?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Crypto<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Bitcoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Bitcoin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rekt Capital (@rektcapital) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rektcapital\/status\/1471081271145246725?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 15, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Trader and pseudonymous Twitter user Crypto Ed_NL likewise sees a bounce coming in the future and he\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Crypto_Ed_NL\/status\/1471166978173849603\">posted<\/a> the following chart outlining how the price action could play out in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-12\/4fb1706b-06c6-4386-bc0e-8754bce55485.jpg\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USD 1-hour chart.
