Hulked-up Bryson DeChambeau has set an admirable \u2014 albeit lofty \u2014 goal for himself that doesn\u2019t involve hitting insanely powerful shots.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m always trying to add more value to my life in general<\/a>,\u201d the 26-year-old told GQ in an interview published on Thursday. \u201cI mean, my goal is to live to 130 or 140. I really think that\u2019s possible now with today\u2019s technology<\/a>. I think somebody\u2019s going to do it in the next 30 or 40 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

DeChambeau, who has bulked up 20 pounds since quarantine began in March, finished in the top-ten in the first four events since the sport returned amid the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s changed the way the game<\/a> is played entirely,\u201d Kevin Kisner told CBS after DeChambeau\u2019s victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.<\/p>\n

So how does DeChambeau plan on living app<\/a>roximately 64 years longer than the media<\/a>n life expectancy for males in the U.S.? For one, the SMU product stays away from alcohol, drinks a lot of protein shakes, trains like a maniac and only drinks water with a pH of 9.5 which he called a \u201cgame changer.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo matter what, [I work out] every single day. I don\u2019t take days off,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019ll probably have about six or seven protein shakes by the time the day\u2019s over. I also have some protein bars around if I need just a couple of them. I\u2019ll snack or I\u2019ll have a little sugar here and there. You got to enjoy life at some point in time. Right?<\/p>\n

\u201cI want humans to be better. I want them to succeed. I want to say, Hey, this is all of the stuff I\u2019ve experienced that helped me do my best. If it helps you, great. If it doesn\u2019t, well, let\u2019s keep working on it. Let\u2019s keep figuring stuff out. That\u2019s my take on life.\u201d<\/p>\n

After the eclectic interview went live, fellow PGA tour member Justin Thomas tweeted an understandably confused response.<\/p>\n
