The approval comes in the form of an on-chain vote that saw the participation of over 72.6 million users from the community.<\/p>\n<p>Uniswap Labs announced to deploy Uniswap v3 contracts based on the votes that reflected over 99.3% approval consensus and will be supported by a $20 million fund \u2014 $15 million for long-term liquidity mining campaign and $5 million for the overall adoption of Uniswap on Polygon (MATIC).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"> The Uniswap community has voted to deploy v3 on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/0xPolygon?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@0xPolygon<\/a> through the governance process. <\/p>\n<p>\u26a1\ufe0f Uniswap Labs will deploy Uniswap v3 contracts within a few days. <\/p>\n<p> Stay tuned. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/LwVLwEngPl\">pic.twitter.com\/LwVLwEngPl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Uniswap Labs  (@Uniswap) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Uniswap\/status\/1472200289919053826?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 18, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nIn addition, Bjelic also announced it was the right moment for Uniswap to deploy on Polygon citing their position as \u201cthe second strongest DeFi ecosystem, right after Ethereum L1.\u201d The entrepreneur also shared his willingness to incentivize Uniswap adoption, both financially and technologically.<\/p>\n<p>The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gov.uniswap.org\/t\/deploy-uniswap-v3-to-polygon-pos-chain\/15058\">proposal<\/a> was published by Polygon CEO Mihailo Bjelic on Nov. 20 and was open for voting until Dec. 18, arguing that \u201cdeploying to Polygon PoS can bring a lot of benefits\u201d such as user base growth, huge savings for users, higher user activity, higher revenue, market capture and return to the original DeFi vision.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-12\/1c2d10f7-24c8-42dd-a6a0-423ee5a76974.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\">Source: Uniswap<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prior to on-chain voting for the governance proposal UP010, Bjelic released a set of <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/gov.uniswap.org\/t\/consensus-check-deploy-uniswap-v3-to-polygon-pos-chain\/15262\">consensus<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/snapshot.org\/#\/uniswap\/proposal\/0x47a6eed75673f33e8eb5d7abbfc0279d8c113ec7fa51f8b61c1abcd66dc091c6\">temperature<\/a> checks to identify the community sentiment behind the deployment of Uniswap v3:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe consensus check 17 passed with 44M (98.87%) YES votes and 500k (1.13%) NO votes.
