\n Ellen DeGeneres may be tired of talking.<\/p>\n

Anonymous insiders at Telepictures said the longtime host of her eponymous talk show is ready to hang up her microphone in the wake of recent allegations about \u201ctoxic\u201d workplace conditions.<\/p>\n

A source at Telepictures told DailyMail.com that the host is telling executives at Telepictures and Warner Bros that she has had enough and wants to walk away from the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe feels she can\u2019t go on and the only way to recover her personal brand from this is to shut down the show,\u201d an insider told the outlet on Friday. \u201cThe truth is she knew what was going on \u2014 it\u2019s her show. The buck stops with her. She can blame every executive under the sun \u2014 but Ellen is ultimately the one to blame.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reps for DeGeneres and the show have not yet responded to The Post\u2019s request for comment about the latest in a long string of claims.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, DeGeneres, 62, addressed allegations of behind-the-scenes racism and more in a memo to staff, saying she was \u201csorry\u201d and suggesting unspecified changes would be made. The show\u2019s executive producer, Ed Glavin, was reportedly let go.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we\u2019ve grown exponentially, I\u2019ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I\u2019d want them done. Clearly some didn\u2019t,\u201d she said. \u201cThat will now change and I\u2019m committed to ensuring this does not happ<\/a>en again.\u201d<\/p>\n

It also was revealed Thursday that dozens of former staff members had come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment and assault.<\/p>\n

However, anonymous show sources say that DeGeneres\u2019 regrets ring hollow.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t think for a minute anything she has said in that apology means anything. She created and then enabled this toxic culture to go on for so long,\u201d a staff member told the Daily Mail. \u201cIf anyone had come to her or those three vile EPs [executive producers] to complain, they would\u2019ve been fired.\u201d<\/p>\n

Insiders also said that Telepictures has \u201chad enough of her\u201d and called DeGeneres a \u201cphony who does not practice what she preaches,\u201d as far as creating a happy environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe behavior of her show executives has been appalling, but [Ellen] is no better,\u201d a source said. \u201cIn fact, she is the worst. It\u2019s outrageous that she is trying to pretend that this is all a shock to her. The fish rots from the head, and Ellen is the head.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source also alleges that DeGeneres \u201chates coming to work\u201d and \u201cstruggles to be nice to people and has utter contempt for her audience,\u201d adding that the host \u201chas been phoning it in for so long\u201d and suggesting she has been \u201cstaying for the money and celebrity it affords her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve dealt with her BS for so many years, she\u2019s not innocent at all, she\u2019s not nice and the show is not filled with happiness,\u201d the insider said.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, celebrities have been lining up for or against her, with \u201cEverybody Loves Raymond\u201d alum Brad Garrett calling her out for allegedly treating people \u201chorribly.\u201d Celebrity manager Scooter Braun called her a \u201ckind, thoughtful, courageous human being.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Monday, sources said WarnerMedia<\/a>\u2019s employee relations group and a third-party firm would interview former and current staff members about backstage issues. The show also has faced the possibility of cancellation, but when asked by The Post about cancellation rumors in early July, DeGeneres\u2019 production company reps said, \u201cTelepictures can confirm it\u2019s untrue.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
