If you\u2019d prefer custom names, you can rename your tables in Excel. Also, you can\u2019t use \u201cC\u201d, \u201cc\u201d, \u201cR\u201d, or \u201cR\u201d as your table name as these characters are designated for other purposes in Excel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cell Reference<\/strong>: You can\u2019t use a cell reference as your table name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Name Separator<\/strong>: You can\u2019t separate multiple words in your table name with a space. To do that, use either an underscore or a dot.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Character Limit<\/strong>: Your table name must fit the 255 maximum character limit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No Same Names<\/strong>: You can\u2019t have two tables with the same name in your workbook.
