Whenever I open the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>, I scroll for ages before finding nothing substantial and rewatching shows I already love.<\/p>\n<p>Even when I search for specific keywords on Netflix, I don\u2019t get appropriate results. All in all, disappointment galore. So, I decided that I needed to stop relying on Netflix for recommendations and build my own watchlist. Wasting my time scrolling should be a thing of the past.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, I created a guide on enhancing your Netflix experience. Before we start, I\u2019d like to point out that this process might force you to spend a bit of time on your laptop or desktop, but it\u2019s worth investing now, rather than wasting future hours browsing.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Netflixs_My_List_sucks_IMDb_is_your_friend\"><\/span>Netflix\u2019s My List sucks. IMDb is your friend<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If I wanted to make a Christmas wish, it would be Netflix adding a playlist feature to its platform. Currently, it just has one dumb function called \u2018My list\u2019 <span>\u2014 and all you can do is just add or remove titles from it.<\/span>\u00a0There\u2019s no way you can differentiate <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a>, TV shows, and documentaries you want to watch.<\/p>\n<p><span>Rather than relying on that, you can use IMDb instead<\/span>. This allows you to create lists across genres and languages. So you can have something like \u201cLGBTQ movies\u201d or \u201cForeign language comedies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To make a list, go to IMDb, and sign in. Thankfully, these\u00a0are easily sharable with your friends, just like <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/list\/ls576960369\/\">this one<\/a> I made in under five minutes.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Filter_out_the_shit_shows\"><\/span>Filter out the shit shows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Netflix puts a lot of movies and shows on its homepage, but there\u2019s no way to know if they\u2019re any good without watching trailers or searching for their IMDb\/Rotten Tomatoes ratings on your phone. That sounds exhausting.<\/p>\n<p>One of the easy ways to filter out shittier titles at a glance is by using <em>Film Scores for Netflix<\/em> Chrome extension. When you hover on a title, the tool displays ratings from various sources, including IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, <span>FilmAffinity, Metacritic, and Trakt TV. I can definitely say neither <em>Friends<\/em> nor <em>Red Notice<\/em> belongs to the search term \u2018Bollywood.\u2019 Do better, Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>I found a few tools that help you dig through the Netflix library in a better way. First up is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix-codes.com\/\">a site for secret codes<\/a>. This will let you surf Netflix through its genre and subgenres, such as religious documentaries, showbiz dramas, vampire horror movies, and gangster movies.
