It’s nearly been 10 years since the space pirate in a miniskirt,\u00a0Marika Katou, became the captain of the\u00a0Bentenmaru after her father passed. Katou’s adventure began in the\u00a0Bodacious Space Pirates<\/strong><\/em><\/span> TV anime on January 8, 2012, and continued until\u00a0June 30 of the same year, adapting\u00a0Yuichi Sasamoto<\/strong>‘s light novel series<\/a>\u00a0Miniskirt Space Pirates<\/strong><\/em>. To celebrate, a new visual for the series was released with\u00a0Marika looking very bodacious.<\/p>\n

Bodacious Space Pirates<\/strong><\/em><\/span> is also getting a rebroadcast in celebration of its 10th anniversary on BS11 in Japan starting January 3. The full series is streaming here<\/span> on Crunchyroll, which describes the TV anime as such:<\/p>\n

Marika Katou is a freshman in high school who lives on the planet “Umi no Akehoshi” somewhere in space. One day, she is told that her father, who she thought was dead, was actually alive until just a while ago, and was the captain of the space pirate ship Bentenmaru. And she also finds out that they need her, his heir, to be captain so that they can keep flying! Marika begins a new life as a high school girl, and as captain of the pirate ship Bentenmaru!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
