These delays cost tens of thousands of lives.\u201d Beware: \u201cMerely throwing more money at the existing system would be a mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Pandemic_watch_Rebirth_of_US_Science_Needed\"><\/span>Pandemic watch: Rebirth of US Science Needed<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Science<\/a> has done great things against COVID, but we\u2019ve also seen \u201cthe biggest public-health fiasco in history, and the marginalization and censoring of dissident scientists,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2021\/12\/america-needs-a-rebirth-of-science\/\">Scott W. Atlas, Jay Bhattacharya &amp; Martin Kulldorff argue at National Review<\/a>. On base pay, \u201cworkers chose a deal that offers more in inflation insurance than im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te gains. They\u2019ll get no across-the-board raise after the first year of the contract. But Kellogg will provide a periodic COLA [or cost of living adjustment], granting up to $3 an hour in additional pay by 2026.\u201d Makes sense for labor, as soaring prices mean \u201creal wages after inflation are falling.\u201d But beware \u201ca wage-price spiral,\u201d as \u201cemployees demand higher wages, and prices rise again as companies pass those higher wage costs along to consumers,\u201d a cycle tough to \u201cget under control short of a recession.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"From_the_right_Bidens_COVID_Trap\"><\/span>From the right: Biden\u2019s COVID Trap<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The pandemic that then-candidate Joe Biden \u201cpromised to \u2018shut down\u2019 continues to bedevil him and the country,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/pandemic-won-biden-white-house-now-its-costing-him-opinion-1661254\">snarks Jonathan S. Tobin at Newsweek<\/a>. \u201cDemocrats expected that the vaccines whose production\u201d Team Trump \u201chad streamlined\u201d and \u201cBiden\u2019s willingness to listen to\u201d Dr. Anthony Fauci would make COVID \u201csubside, if not vanish, during the course of 2021. But viruses don\u2019t obey presidential directives,\u201d and \u201ceven widespread vaccination hasn\u2019t been enough to end what now <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be a permanent public health emergency.\u201d More Americans have \u201cdied of COVID on Biden\u2019s watch than on Trump\u2019s\u201d \u2014 a problem for Biden thanks to his repeated claim that had Trump \u201cdone his job .\u2009.\u2009. all the people would still be alive.\u201d The prez is \u201cstuck in a trap of his own making that is likely to make 2022 an even more depressing year for Democrats.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conservative_Democrats_Hispanic_Problem\"><\/span>Conservative: Democrats\u2019 Hispanic Problem<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s official: The Democrats have a Hispanic voter problem,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/politics\/hispanics-rightward-march\">notes the Washington Examiner\u2019s W. James Antle III<\/a>. A group that was once to be key to \u201cthe emerging Democratic majority\u201d is now split nearly evenly on a hypothetical Trump vs. Biden rematch. \u201cBiden took just 44% of the Hispanic vote, to 43% for Trump\u201d in a stunning Wall Street Journal poll.
