Some of the transactions the users claim went to their Chivo accounts were for as little as $61, but others said they were missing thousands or more.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"und\" dir=\"ltr\">2- $3,921 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fvP8aLHQyP\">pic.twitter.com\/fvP8aLHQyP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 El Comisionado (@_elcomisionado_) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/_elcomisionado_\/status\/1472326563605581824?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">December 18, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n\u201cThere is a security flow on the wallet where money and transactions dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/luisguardado117\/status\/1474271757607395332\">said<\/a> Luis Guardado in a direct appeal to President Nayib Bukele. \u201cNo tech support and only useless calls, where is my money.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bukele <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/nayibbukele\/status\/1444775650292899840\">said<\/a> in October that 3 million Salvadorans were using their Chivo wallets, roughly half of the nation\u2019s 6.5 million people. Since El Salvador\u2019s Bitcoin Law was first proposed in June, many in the country have opposed the measure for a variety of reasons, including the volatility of cryptocurrencies and claiming they were unreliable as an investment for pension funds. Protestors marched through the capital city of San Salvador before the law went into effect on Sept. 7, with subsequent protests seeing some people managing to ransack and burn Chivo kiosks. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>President Bukele fires back at critics on &#8216;Bitcoin experiment&#8217;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The El Salvador president has frequently taken to social media to promote the adoption of BTC as well as related projects, including using geothermal energy from the country\u2019s volcanoes to mine crypto and building a Bitcoin City funded initially by $1 billion in BTC bonds. He also uses the platform to announce his Bitcoin purchases to the world.
