Page Six<\/em> was first to get the scoop on Christmas Eve. At the time, a source for the outlet spilled that Meghan had \u201ctold friends they broke up.\u201d She also removed his last name from her Instagram<\/strong> bio, which had previously read \u201cMeghan King Owens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now the mother of three has finally confirmed the news<\/a> with a heartbreaking public announcement. On Monday, she acknowledged the situation on her Instagram Story, writing:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been asked by many outlets and individuals to comment on the state of my marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She went on:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am rattled. This situation is profoundly devastating. This is obviously not what I imagined when I made my vows \u2014 and I\u2019m shocked and saddened by the way things turned out. I am moving forward with my children as we privately process our pain and begin to let go of shattered dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
