“#NYPD reports man snatched purse from 85-year-old woman<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

A heartless crook violently snatched a purse from an 85-year-old woman inside a Bronx apartment building on Sunday afternoon, police said.<\/p>\n

The male suspect was caught on surveillance camera committing the heinous theft inside the residential building near East 149th Street and Morris Avenue in Mott Haven at about 3:10 p.m., according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

Footage of the robbery provided by police shows the man dragging the victim out of an elevator and ripping away her purse.<\/p>\n

The woman slammed into the wall and fell to the ground during the attack, the video shows.<\/p>\n

The suspect fled and was still being sought early Tuesday, cops said.<\/p>\n
