Tesla later apologized to the customer.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>As Tesla has sought to push into the Chinese market in recent years, Musk has lavished praise on the country despite tensions with the US.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But back in 2015, the Tesla CEO was more blunt about China posing a threat to his ambitions in space.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about a hypothetical situation in which SpaceX\u2019s Starlink satellites beamed uncensored internet into China, Musk said the Chinese government could shoot down his satellites.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they get upset with us, they can blow our satellites up, which wouldn\u2019t be good,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/spacex-internet-satellite-constellation-china-threat-2016-11\">Musk said<\/a>. \u201cChina can do that.
