But Nephew has posted six more tracks \u2014 one with a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XALNLVPwPQs&amp;ab_channel=RXKNephew\">music video<\/a> \u2014 in the two days since. And there are still nine hours left in 2021, Rochester time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            Nevertheless, <i>Welcome 2 The Quiet Storm<\/i> has a sense of finality to it. The tracks feel no less free-flowing and spontaneous than anything else Nephew has released this year. But the slow-jam samples \u2014 including Jagged Edge&#8217;s &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fUgGHdV3zX0&amp;ab_channel=JaggedEdgeVEVO\">Goodbye<\/a>,&#8221; Avant&#8217;s &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9241X9sm0qo&amp;ab_channel=RafficMohamed\">Separated<\/a>,&#8221; and Ginuwine&#8217;s &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=U_90XNCBatY&amp;ab_channel=GinuwineVEVO\">Differences<\/a>,&#8221; all of which embody the &#8220;professions of love&#8221; <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/paul_posts\/status\/1476433574685548546\">Paul Schrader feels<\/a> are missing from today&#8217;s R&amp;B \u2014 give the tape a continuity that&#8217;s rare in the RXK catalog.<\/p>\n<p>            <i>W2TQS<\/i> is not the most memorable of the 25 multi-track projects (11 albums and 14 EPs) Nephew released this year \u2014 <i>Slitherman Activated<\/i> takes that honor. But he does enter an unprecedented emotional register on the new tape, showing the world his sentimental side. <i>I Just Wanna Be Myself With You, Baby<\/i> is etched at the top of the project&#8217;s cover art in lieu of its title, and the message comes through in the music \u2014 especially on track two, in which the upstate iconoclast describes a heartfelt text exchange over a snippet of Anthony Hamilton&#8217;s evergreen &#8220;<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=aJ0nqnUhDgk&amp;ab_channel=ColdSupreme\">Charlene<\/a>&#8220;:<\/p>\n<div class=\"\" style=\"padding-bottom: 20px; margin-top: 20px; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p>            <i>I&#8217;m like &#8220;Baby, what I did?
