That\u2019s about a 3 percent jump.<\/p>\n<p>Electric bike rides for members will cost 15 cents per minute, up from 12 cents, though <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>s starting or ending outside Manhattan will remain c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed at $3 plus tax.<\/p>\n<p>Non-members will pay $3.99 per single ride, up from $3.50, and more for e-bikes as well.<\/p>\n<p>Citi Bike spokesman Jordan Levine chalked up the price hike to \u201cinflation caused by increased supply chain costs\u201d which he said  \u201chas significantly affected us similar to many other parts of the economy.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Bike parts in particular have risen in cost \u2014 as Citi Bike aims to add thousands of new docks to the system and roll out a new e-bike model.<\/p>\n<p>One Citi Bike frequent biker, who declined to be named, said the increase grinds his gears.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just want to get around the city without having to keep paying more. Though it\u2019s a reminder their fundamental issue hasn\u2019t changed \u2014 entire neighborhoods chronically have no available bikes or docks. I wonder if the ongoing expansions this price hike funds will help with that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Citi Bike is owned by Silicon Valley-darling Lyft, which bought the bike share\u2019s parent company in 2018.
