He has served as Disney\u2019s executive chairman since stepping down as CEO in early 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the end of my 47 1\/2 yr ABC @Disney journey and it was \u2018the ride of a lifetime,\u2019\u201d Iger said in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RobertIger\/status\/1476908718323224579\">Twitter post<\/a>. \u201cEnormous thanks to my colleagues &amp; fellow cast members &amp; special thanks to my wife Willow &amp; my 4 children: Katie, Amanda, Max &amp; Will. She will work closely with CEO Bob Chapek as Disney attempts to navigate a difficult pandemic-era business environment that has impacted its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a> parks, cruise lines and content production.<\/p>\n<p>Iger has emerged as one of the country\u2019s most influential business leaders since he took over as Disney CEO in 2005. I\u2019m looking forward to what I\u2019ll call a true day off.
