“#Joe Gatto Exits ‘Impractical Jokers’ Amid Split From His Wife<\/strong>”

It\u2019s the end of an era for The Tenderloins \u2014 Joe Gatto<\/a> has announced his departure from the comedy troupe at the center of truTV\u2019s hit hidden camera series<\/a>, Impractical Jokers<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Over the weekend, the comedia<\/a>n took to Instagram to share the news<\/a> that he was leaving the series after a decade and nine seasons \u2014 it first premiered in December 2011 \u2014 due to \u201csome issues in my personal life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSorry in advance for the long and more-serious-than-usual note below, I just wanted to let you all know that I will no longer be involved with Impractical Jokers<\/em>,\u201d Gatto captioned a a photo of himself on stage.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\u201cAlongside my friends, I\u2019ve devoted a decade of my life to building this franchise and couldn\u2019t be prouder of what has been accomplished. However, due to some issues in my personal life, I have to step away,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

He then shared that he and wife Bessy Gatto have \u201cdecided to amicably part ways,\u201d after tying the knot in 2013. \u201cSo now I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids,\u201d he added.beGatto then made a point to thank his fellow group members, James \u201cMurr\u201d Murray, Brian \u201cQ\u201d Quinn, and Sal Vulcano, and wish them luck continuing without him. \u201cOutside of my family, my relationships with Murr, Q, and Sal have been the most important in my life,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI know they will continue to make the world laugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear what sort of plans the 45-year-old has for his career going forward, but he did thank the fans for all of their support over the years. \u201cAs I work through the challenges I am facing, I hope to and am excited to create new ways to entertain you,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

As for Impractical Jokers<\/em>, the series will \u201cget back to making a new chapter of Impractical Jokers<\/em> in January,\u201d as confirmed by the rest of the members in a statement on Quinn\u2019s Instagram.<\/p>\n
