Five of those killed were Irish nationals and the other Irish-American, all 21 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Beary suffered brain trauma, broken bones, organ lacerations\u00a0 and underwent open heart surgery as a result of her fall, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/news\/ireland\/irish-news\/berkeley-balcony-collapse-survivor-aoife-beary-dies-1.4767376\">according to The Irish Times<\/a>. UCD\u2019s Dean of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Science<\/a>, Professor Joe Carthy remembered Beary as a brave student on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAoife dealt with the devastating impact of her accident with great bravery and fortitude. She was awarded a BSc in Pharmacology in 2016.
