Well, you carry a camera in your pocket every day, so why not use that as a scanner?<\/p>\n<p>The truth is a smartphone camera is usually perfectly fine for getting the job done as a scanner. The results won\u2019t be as crisp and clear as an actual scanner, but it will get the point across. Here are a few suggestions for taking good photos of a document.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Lighting<\/strong>: Place the document on a flat surface with good lighting. Try to avoid casting a shadow on the document with your hand and phone.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Placement<\/strong>: Take the photo straight on to avoid any weird angles. This can be done from directly above or at a right angle by propping up the document. Do whichever results in the best lighting\/fewest shadows.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Framing<\/strong>: Make sure to take the photo from far enough away so the entire document is in view. After you take the photo, crop it to the document so you don\u2019t see any of the surroundings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Scanner_Apps\"><\/span>Scanner Apps<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The camera on your phone will get the job done in many situations, but sometimes a more professional-looking scan is necessary. For that, you\u2019ll want to turn to a document scanner <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>. You may already have one installed on your phone.<\/p>\n<p>Google Drive has a lesser-known document scanning feature built-in. All you have to do is take a photo of the document and Drive will do all the work to make it look as clean and clear as possible. This feature is available in Google Drive for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-drive\/id507874739\">iPhone<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/google-drive\/id507874739\">iPad<\/a>, and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.docs&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\">Android<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the app and make sure you\u2019re signed in with your Google account. You may need to grant the app permission to use your camera.
