I can\u2019t believe it\u2019s over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said he then decided it was time to uncork some bubbly with loved ones.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy family said, \u2018Come on down \u2014 we\u2019re popping Champagne. The jury said it could not reach a unanimous decision on three other fraud charges.<\/p>\n<p>Holmes, who cultivated a reputation as a rising star in the world of tech and who drew comparisons to pioneers like Steve Jobs, faces up to 20 years in prison for each of the four charges on which she was convicted, though it\u2019s likely she will serve less time, legal watchers have said.<\/p>\n<p>Shultz, the grandson of the late former secretary of state and Theranos board member, joined Theranos as an intern in 2011 after studying biology at Stanford University.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/theranos-whistleblower-07.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"SAN JOSE, CA - January 03: Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, center, and her family leave the Robert F. He also claimed that Holmes\u2019 lawyers tried to intimidate him.<\/p>\n<p>Shultz said he showed up to watch closing arguments, though he mostly kept tabs on the trial from his San Francisco apartment using social media.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Shultz runs his own biotech startup focusing on women\u2019s fertility issues.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
