They show up as a regular call, but the caller ID reads \u201cPotential Spam\u201d and it may also list the location where the call is coming from.\u00a0This can <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear on both iPhones and Android devices. Well, it\u2019s not that mysterious. It\u2019s simply a call that Verizon\u2019s call screening system has flagged as being potentially nefarious. It\u2019s not fishy enough to be blocked completely, but Verizon wants you to be wary of it.<\/p>\n<p>Other carriers have similar features that flag calls \u201cScam Likely\u201d or \u201cSpam Risk.\u201d \u201cPotential Spam\u201d is simply Verizon\u2019s own wording for it. Verizon is giving you a heads up, and you can decide whether or not you want to answer the call. However, you can block unknown callers on iPhone and Android.<\/p>\n<p>This will prevent any number that\u2019s not in your contacts from ringing your phone.
