However, if you\u2019re having problems or want to make certain you have the latest version, you can manually force the app to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/416434\/how-to-keep-your-mac-and-apps-up-to-date\/\">check for updates, as we\u2019ll explain below.<\/p>\n<p>If you are on Linux, your app won\u2019t update automatically.
