The passing of TV icon Betty White on New Year\u2019s Eve has left many fans feeling nostalgic. As people continue to relive White\u2019s iconic performances, an interview between the legend and fellow comedia<\/a>n Joan Rivers on a 1983 episode of The Tonight Show<\/em> has recently gone viral<\/a>, proving the power of the two comedy queens.<\/p>\n

The episode features Rivers filling in for former host Johnny Carson. The interview starts with a playful jab by White at one of Rivers\u2019 recent magazine covers, to which she responds, \u201cJust a little jealous are you of the old cover?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou would think you were the only cover girl in town,\u201d White responds, mentioning her own recent magazine cover. \u201cDid you know that I\u2019m a cover girl?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m surprised, but probably yes,\u201d Rivers jokes before White pulls out her Animal Review<\/em> cover, featuring her posing with an adorable dog.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd if you dare say, \u2018Who\u2019s that other b**** on the cover?\u2019 I will never speak to you again for as long as I live,\u201d White says before Rivers gets the chance to comment. She then further clarifies, stating, \u201cI am the one in the pink jacket.\u201d Rivers gets her two cents in, poking fun at the fact that White\u2019s cover is not with a \u201cmajor publication.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNot a major publication?\u201d White retorts. \u201cIf you have dogs, I tell you that\u2019s a very major publication.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rivers passed away<\/a> in 2014 at the age of 81. White\u2019s death comes only weeks before her centennial birthday celebration on January 17.<\/p>\n
