\n Jeffrey Epstein\u2019s secret girlfriend was a children\u2019s book author nicknamed \u201cChocolate Sauce\u201d who touts herself as a \u201cspiritual entrepreneur\u201d \u2014 and runs a \u201csacred space\u201d in the Big App<\/a>le, according to a report.<\/p>\n

News<\/a> of a previously unknown girlfriend first emerged in the latest trove of unsealed court documents, in which Ghislaine Maxwell was shown to have begged Epstein to get \u201cShelley\u201d to publicly announce in the 2000s that she \u2014 not Maxwell \u2014 was the pedophile\u2019s ex.<\/p>\n

Now she has been identified as British-born author Shelley Anne Lewis, 43, who was a frequent travel<\/a>er on Epstein\u2019s private jet, including trips to his so-called \u201cPedo Island,\u201d according to the Mail on Sunday newspaper.<\/p>\n

\u201cShelley was always very well connected and beautiful. I am shocked and saddened,\u201d a former colleague told the UK paper of her apparent romantic ties to the notorious late pedophile.<\/p>\n

Lewis refused to comment to the paper \u2014 but appeared to have deleted her social media<\/a> accounts before the latest document dump.<\/p>\n

She would have been 22 when she is said to have started dating Epstein in 1999, when he was 46, meeting while she worked in the contemporary art department of Christie\u2019s auction house in New York.<\/p>\n

Lewis previously praised an unidentified \u201cmentor\u201d who was \u201cso original in all his thought processes that he couldn\u2019t even see the box,\u201d according to the report. \u201cMy already inquisitive and curious nature evolved. I supposed it gave me a kind of \u2018anything is possible\u2019 mentality,\u201d she reportedly said.<\/p>\n

She now runs a \u201cspirituality-oriented\u201d children\u2019s publishing house named after her nickname, \u201cChocolate Sauce\u201d \u2014 as well as a Big Apple meditation center, Sacred Space NY, which aims to \u201chelp New Yorker\u2019s unplug from the frenetic pace of the city and cultivate practices for Inner Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lewis also wrote a bestselling children\u2019s book \u2014 \u201cA Key To The Heart,\u201d that garnered praise from the likes of First Lady Laura Bush and Harry Potter series<\/a> author JK Rowling \u2014 along with spiritual blog articles, her bio states.<\/p>\n

The self-titled \u201cspiritual entrepreneur\u201d was tied to Epstein in part by flight logs from the period \u2014 many of which showed her flying alone with him to New York and his private island, Little Saint James, the Mail said.<\/p>\n

While she has not been accused of any wrongdoing or tied to the allegations against Epstein, she could be of keen interest to prosecutors or lawyers for Epstein\u2019s accusers, sources told the UK paper.<\/p>\n

\u201cMs. Lewis may have information which could be valuable and which could aid victims who are seeking compensation from Epstein\u2019s estate. We would urge her to tell the FBI what she knows,\u201d an unidentified lawyer for some of the accusers told the paper.<\/p>\n

Lewis divides her time between New York and her native Britain, where she co-owns a $1 million apartment with her sister in west London, the Mail said. She has not responded to the paper\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n

Her father Brian, a retired millionaire businessman, told the paper he felt \u201cvery sad\u201d for Epstein\u2019s victims.<\/p>\n
