According to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jwz\/status\/1478022085737803776\">Zawinski<\/a>, everyone involved should be \u201cashamed of this decision to partner with planet-incinerating Ponzi grifters.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zawinski didn\u2019t stop there. As a follow-up, he published a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jwz.org\/blog\/2022\/01\/today-on-sick-sad-world-how-the-cryptobros-have-fallen\/\">blog<\/a> post on his website and wrote that the crypto industry\u2019s business model is unrealistic. \u201cThey manufacture only pollution, nothing else, and they turn that into money,\u201d wrote Zawinski.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following this, Mozilla decided to pause crypto donations and have an internal discussion on cryptocurrency\u2019s environmental impact.
