\nLil Wayne separated himself from his peers when he went on an insane mixtape run in the mid-2000s. The New Orleans, Louisiana native jumped on songs by other artists and annihilated the production with his own set of fiery verses.<\/p>\n

One of the mixtapes from the tail end of that era was Sorry 4 The Wait<\/em>, a project Wayne released in July 2011 as an apology to fans waiting on Tha Carter IV<\/em>. Now, over a decade later, Weezy is finally bringing the mixtape to all streaming platforms.<\/p>\n

On Saturday (January 8), Lil Wayne took to Instagram with a post announcing the news<\/a>, accompanied by an animated video soundtracked by Wayne\u2019s freestyle over Gunplay\u2019s \u201cRollin.\u201d Tunechi didn\u2019t reveal a release date, but he did notify fans that the mixtape is available to pre-save<\/a> on Spotify and App<\/a>le Music.<\/p>\n
