“#’No Better Guy’: The How I Met Your Mother Cast Remembers Bob Saget
\n<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\nBob Saget<\/strong> will be remembered forever for his role as Danny Tanner, one of the best TV dads of all time, on\u00a0Full House<\/em>. But he was a dad on another long-running sitcom, too.<\/p>\n

Some may not even realize the voice they were hearing narrate the entirety of\u00a0How I Met Your Mother<\/em>, the voice of Ted Mosby from the future, after he\u2019d gotten married and had kids, was Bob. But for the cast and crew, he was part of the family.<\/p>\n

After his unexpected passing on Sunday, the show\u2019s stars and creators expressed their loss \u2014 and for some the relationship was closer than we ever expected.<\/p>\n

Neil Patrick Harris<\/strong> tweeted:<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely stunned to hear about Bob Saget. He was always so kind and generous and hilarious. Gone too soon. #RIP\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The memory that stood out for Alyson Hannigan<\/strong> was actually one from way,\u00a0way<\/em> before the show, when she was just a teen babysitter! She wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my favorite memories of Bob was when I was babysitting his daughter Aubrey. I was 15, she wasn\u2019t feeling well, and I couldn\u2019t get her to sleep or stop crying. Bob came home and took her in his arms, played a Tracy Chapman song on the stereo and danced with her until she fell asleep on his shoulder. It was such a beautiful and significant moment for me and I\u2019m sure just one of a million moments like that for them. He was a wonderful Dad and human. I love you Bob. RIP\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
