The grand return of action-shooter series<\/a> Kiki Kaikai<\/i><\/b>, also known as Pocky & Rocky<\/i><\/b>, is on the way to the west this spring as Pocky & Rocky Reshrined<\/i><\/b>. While we wait for a more concrete release date for the localization, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu <\/i>magazine has a feature on the game<\/a>, which Natsume Atari has lined up for an April 21 <\/b>launch on PS4 and Switch\u00a0in Japan.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In addition to taking a look at the game’s characters, which were illustrated by Yoshitoo Asari, the Famitsu <\/i>feature will offer a peek at new gameplay modes when it hits stands in Japan on January 13.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here’s how Natsume describes Pocky & Rocky Reshrined<\/i><\/b>:<\/p>\n

Pocky & Rocky<\/em> follows the adventures of a young Shinto shrine maiden named Pocky and her companion, Rocky the raccoon, as they attempt to save a group of creatures known as the Nopino Goblins. Gameplay takes place from a top-down perspective and features both single-player and cooperative modes.<\/p>\n

Pocky & Rocky Reshrined<\/em> is a sequel to Pocky & Rocky<\/em>, known in Japan as the action-shooting game series Kiki Kaikai<\/em>, which first app<\/a>eared as an arcade game from Taito Corporation in 1986 and is being developed under license from Taito Corporation.<\/p>\n
