\nReese Witherspoon<\/strong> and Ryan Phillippe<\/strong>\u2018s daughter Ava Phillippe<\/strong> is speaking her truth!<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old model got candid about her love life during an Instagram<\/strong> Q&A with fans late last week! When a follower asked if she likes \u201cboys or girls,\u201d Ava revealed:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m attracted to\u2026 people! (Gender is whatever).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Amazing! Last we heard, Ava was in a relationship with Owen Mahoney<\/strong>, whom she met at UC Berkeley<\/strong>, but it\u2019s unclear if the pair is still together. They were last seen together over the summer when they shocked the internet with pictures that looked identical to Reese and Ryan back in the day.<\/p>\n

The college student is the oldest of Reese\u2019s children. The actress also shares 18-year-old Deacon<\/strong> with Ryan and 9-year-old Tennessee<\/strong> with her husband Jim Toth<\/strong>. The momma has been open about her opinions on LGBTQ issues in the past.<\/p>\n

In an episode of \u200b\u200bVariety<\/em>\u2018s Actors on Actors series<\/a> in June 2020, the 45-year-old told Legally Blonde 2<\/em> co-star Regina King<\/strong> that she \u201cdidn\u2019t understand what homosexuality was\u201d until she first moved to Los Angeles, explaining:<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one spoke to me about sexuality when I was a teenager. I didn\u2019t understand what homosexuality was. My grandparents didn\u2019t explain it, my parents didn\u2019t explain it. I had to learn from somebody I met on an audition in Los Angeles.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hah! Well, at least she learned eventually! The Louisiana native has gone on to incorporate discussions of homosexuality into her projects, including Little Fires Everywhere<\/em>. We bet that\u2019s only made her more understanding of her own daughter\u2019s sexuality!<\/p>\n

While speaking to InStyle<\/em> in October 2020, The Morning Show<\/em> star reflected on how \u201codd\u201d her children\u2019s upbringing is to her own because of fame, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an odd situation because I didn\u2019t grow up famous. So [Ava is] living an experience that I did not have, and so are my sons. We are lucky enough to have friends who grew up in Hollywood and can help give them advice on how to navigate.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She\u2019s never sounded worried though, adding:<\/p>\n

\u201cAva is so down-to-earth. She wants to do great things in the world. She\u2019s studying and learning and trying to find herself. It\u2019s a big thing in life to try different things and figure out what is really your path.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Seems like she\u2019s well on her way to figuring herself out! Love it!<\/p>\n
