{"id":393147,"date":"2022-01-12T22:26:17","date_gmt":"2022-01-12T19:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/ben-affleck-on-the-awful-experience-of-making-justice-league\/"},"modified":"2022-01-12T22:26:17","modified_gmt":"2022-01-12T19:26:17","slug":"ben-affleck-on-the-awful-experience-of-making-justice-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/ben-affleck-on-the-awful-experience-of-making-justice-league\/","title":{"rendered":"#Ben Affleck on the &#8216;awful&#8217; experience of making &#8216;Justice League&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Ben Affleck on the &#8216;awful&#8217; experience of making &#8216;Justice League&#8217;<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>It was filming \u201cJustice League\u201d that made Ben Affleck want to hang up his Batman cape.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was really \u2018Justice League\u2019 that was the nadir for me,\u201d Affleck, 49, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/entertainment-arts\/movies\/story\/2022-01-07\/ben-affleck-tender-bar-amazon\">told the Los Angeles Times<\/a> about shooting director Zack Snyder\u2019s 2017 movie. \u201cThat was a bad experience because of a confluence of things: my own life, my divorce, being away too much, the competing agendas, and then Zack\u2019s personal tragedy [<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2017\/05\/22\/zack-snyder-steps-down-from-justice-league-after-daughters-death\/\">with his daughter committing suicide during the filming<\/a>] and the reshooting. It just was the worst experience. It was awful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The whole experience turned Affleck against playing the Caped Crusader. \u201cIt was everything that I didn\u2019t like about this,\u201d he said. \u201cThat became the moment where I said, \u2018I\u2019m not doing this anymore.\u2019 It\u2019s not even about, like, \u2018Justice League\u2019 was so bad. The person who does this should love it,\u2019 \u201d said Affleck. \u201cYou\u2019re supposed to always want these things, and I probably would have loved doing it at 32 or something.
