“#Microsoft Will Let You Uninstall Windows 11\u2019s Clock for Some Reason”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you absolutely despise the clock in Windows 11? Well, Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22533 to the Dev channel, and it will let you uninstall the Windows Clock app<\/a> if that\u2019s something you\u2019re interested in.<\/p>\n

In the release notes for the build<\/a>, Microsoft kept it simple with regards to the clock, simply saying, \u201cIt is now possible to uninstall the Clock app if you want.\u201d Clock haters can now come together in their hatred of the hands of time by removing it, assuming they\u2019re on the Windows Insider Dev channel.<\/p>\n

Outside of removing the clock, this build updates the volume, brightness, camera privacy, camera on\/off, and airplane mode indicators with a design that better matches the look and feel of Windows 11. If you push the button for any of these options on your keyboard with this build, you\u2019ll see an updated design for the sliders and indicators.<\/p>\n

The Your Phone app is also getting an updated call experience. According to Microsoft, this update \u201cincludes a new in-progress call window with updated icons, fonts, and other UI changes that align with the improved design of Windows 11.\u201d<\/p>\n

There are many other minor fixes and tweaks you can read about on the blog post<\/a> announcing the update. As is always the case with updates to the Dev channel, we don\u2019t know exactly when they\u2019ll make their way to the release build of Windows 11. The features will need to go through proper testing, and we should see them at some point in the next year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
