But as Omicron quickly swept through the city in December, and continued its streak, the pair decided against heading to NYC for their rescheduled date \u2014 something the restaurant only allows to h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en once. <\/p>\n<p>They hadn\u2019t booked any other travel arrangements. Now, she\u2019s trying her luck on Reddit, where six users have voiced interest \u2014 four of whom have tried negotiating down the price. Only one priced offer has come through: $200.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c$200 is pretty low for something that cost me $729,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Erin isn\u2019t alone. Another Reddit user, who aimed to get around $900 face value for a two-person Dec. 30 reservation \u2014 and ultimately chose not to go over COVID concerns \u2014 told The Post Eleven Madison Park said it would refund them after finding a waitlist replacement, but claim they still haven\u2019t received it a month later. It too had earned its own posts from Reddit resellers. One, who didn\u2019t respond to a request for comment, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/FoodNYC\/comments\/rpuaiu\/transferring_atomix_reservation_dec_27th_830_pm\/\">wanted $707.69<\/a> to transfer a two-person Dec. 27 reservation via Tock after the other intended diner \u201cwas not feeling well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jinah Rhee, a project manager at Atomix, confirmed this policy \u2014 repeating the statement provided to Eater: \u201cWe understand the situation of guests who require cancellations day-of due to exposure or positive test results. For this reason, for COVID-19 we issue a full refund, and offer assistance to rebook the reservation for guests when they have returned to full health, based on availability.\u201d Atomix declined to provide further comment.<\/p>\n<p>Without any immediate recourse, Erin hopes to follow up today with hungry Reddit buyers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I was going to lose it, I would just give it to a friend,\u201d she said.
