We know that he survived, but we also saw that bizarre dream sequence where he could have some sort of \u201cperfect\u201d future. Much of it alludes to the idea that he could very much love Cassie, and we know that these two characters are going to be spending a lot of time together.<\/p>\n<p>Yet, does Nate\u00a0<em>actually\u00a0<\/em>love Sydney Sweeney\u2019s character? Is he even capable of such an idea? This is someone who\u2019s done such detestable things and is clearly damaged by his family and the way that he grew up.<\/p>\n<p>For some perspective on all of this, it makes perfect sense to go to the man behind the role. Speaking to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/tv\/euphoria-jacob-elordi-season-2-interview\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, here is what Jacob Elordi had to say about the Nate sequence, what he thinks about Cassie, and his character\u2019s thoughts on love in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">I think he just has this very primal, \u201cAmerican Dream\u201d idea in him of having a very straight down the line, white picket fence, beautiful blonde life. This idea of love and family that he doesn\u2019t have. This conventional storybook idea for him. And I think he\u2019s doing that thing, that\u2019s what you\u2019re saying, trying to convince himself like \u201cThis is right in front of me. This is a good girl. She loves me. I have full control over her. This must be what love is.\u201d Because that\u2019s his thing. The whole time I think he has no f\u2014\u2013g idea what love is. He\u2019s not loved by his mom. He\u2019s not loved by his dad. He\u2019s not loved by his peers. He has no concept of what real love is. So he\u2019s just trying the best he can to understand it.<\/p>\n<p>Nate could figure out a lot about himself through this season. Will he come out of it a better person?
