\nA new trailer for the upcoming <\/span>Kono Healer, Mendokusai<\/span><\/i> anime<\/a> was released ahead of its April 2022 premiere. The isekai comedy manga series<\/a> was <\/span>confirmed for an anime adaptation<\/span> last April, with an initial <\/span>teaser trailer<\/span> released just a few months later. <\/span>Jumondou<\/b> is in charge of production. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, voice actress <\/span>Asuna Tomari<\/b> was announced to be playing Mushroom\/Oretegaia, a mushroom-shaped supernatural entity that joins the two main characters on their journey. <\/span>Aguri Oonishi <\/b>will play Karla, a dark elf healer, while <\/span>Takuya Satou<\/b> plays her companion swordsman, Alvin. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Oonishi<\/span> will also be performing the anime\u2019s opening theme<\/a> “Jellyfish na Kimi e.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The original digital manga by <\/span>Tannen ni Hakkou<\/b> is currently serialized on ComicWalker, Monthly Comic Flapper, and Nico Nico Seiga. Four tankoubon volumes have been collected and released so far. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The story follows Alvin, a wisecracking swordsman whose quips are sharper than his sword, and his accompanying healer Karla. Unfortunately for Alvin, Karla\u2019s rudeness makes her a constant source of annoyance for him. <\/span><\/p>\n

The main anime production team include <\/span>Nobuaki Nakanishi <\/b>(<\/span>Koihime Musou<\/span><\/i>) as director, <\/span>Fumihiko Shimo<\/b> (<\/span>Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki<\/span><\/i>) as scriptwriter, and <\/span>Chisato Kikunaga<\/b> (<\/span>Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle<\/span><\/i> co-sub-character designer) as character designer. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
