Following the deal, its <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>s are set to be added to Microsoft Xbox\u2019s Game Pass service that has 25 million subscribers. <\/p>\n<p>According to a Jan. 18 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.microsoft.com\/2022\/01\/18\/microsoft-to-acquire-activision-blizzard-to-bring-the-joy-and-community-of-gaming-to-everyone-across-every-device\/\">announcement<\/a> from Microsoft, the firm will acquire Activision Blizzard for $95.00 per share at a valuation of $68.7 billion. The deal is set to close in the 2023 fiscal year, and it will see Microsoft become the third largest gaming company in terms of revenue behind Riot Games owner Tencent and Playstation developer Sony. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Together with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ATVI_AB?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@ATVI_AB<\/a>, we will usher in a new era of gaming that puts players and creators first and makes gaming safe, inclusive, and accessible to all. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fF2Ig3gSfx\">https:\/\/t.co\/fF2Ig3gSfx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Satya Nadella (@satyanadella) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/satyanadella\/status\/1483431765616119809?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 18, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nMicrosoft outlined that the acquisition will support the growth of its services across mobile, PC, console and cloud gaming, and also notably stated that it will \u201cprovide building blocks for the Metaverse.\u201d Microsoft CEO and chairman Satya Nadella said: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cGaming is the most dynamic and exciting category in entertainment across all platforms today and will play a key role in the development of metaverse platforms.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As part of the acquisition, Microsoft stated that Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick will remain at the helm until the deal closes, with the reins then being handed over to Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer. <\/p>\n<p>Spencer <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/news.xbox.com\/en-us\/2022\/01\/18\/welcoming-activision-blizzard-to-microsoft-gaming\/?ocid=Evergreen_soc_omc_xbo_tw_Photo_lrn_1.18.1\">welcomed<\/a> the deal via an Xbox blog post and emphasized the company is working to make cloud gaming accessible on as many devices as possible.
