\nCharisma Carpenter<\/strong> is hitting back at her former boss after his overtly non-apologetic interview this week.<\/p>\n

In case you missed it,\u00a0Joss Whedon<\/strong> finally spoke out about the accusations he was a bully on set \u2014 and probably just made things worse. In an interview with\u00a0New York<\/em> magazine, the\u00a0Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em> creator denied, deflected, and disrespected the actors who have spoken out against him.<\/p>\n

He said\u00a0Gal Gadot<\/strong> misunderstood him as threatening her career on the set of\u00a0Justice League<\/em> because \u201cEnglish is not her first language.\u201d He said one of the reasons he reduced Ray Fisher<\/strong>\u2018s role in the superhero film is because he was \u201ca bad actor.\u201d And as for Charisma? Well, he was a little subtler there, saying most of his time with her was \u201cdelightful and charming\u201d but then immedia<\/a>tely shaded her:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe struggled sometimes with her lines, but nobody could hit a punchline harder than her.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If you\u2019re trying to prove you\u2019re not a jerk, why throw in that \u201cshe struggled\u201d with remembering lines??<\/p>\n

Well, Charisma isn\u2019t standing for it. The one and only Cordelia Chase took to\u00a0Twitter<\/strong> and Instagram<\/strong> on Tuesday to blast the implication that she was somehow tricked into what she\u2019d said about Whedon by Fisher, who himself was influenced, the article suggested Whedon or his defenders believed, by Zack Snyder<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u201cIStandWithRayFisher, the \u2018malevolent force\u2019 and \u2018bad actor in both senses\u2019 who poisoned my feeble mind with trendy buzzwords and corrupt ideas about my experiences with a former tyrannical narcissistic boss who is still unable to be accountable and just apologize.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Damn. How\u2019s that for hitting a punchline? But that wasn\u2019t all. She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe Gal Gadot not only understands career threats in English, but also in Hebrew and Arabic. Possibly French, Spanish and Italian too.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Finally, she jabbed at the fact the profile mentions Whedon is in treatment for addiction yet can\u2019t nail the whole making amends thing:<\/p>\n

\u201cTo anyone struggling with alcoholism (or addiction of any kind) today: It is never too late to get help. If you are willing to seek treatment, practice rigorous honesty, and are of service to others; there is a very good chance you will be free to live your life on life\u2019s terms \u2013 with compassion, humility, and love in your heart.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

OK, she\u2019s\u00a0definitely<\/em> implying Whedon isn\u2019t doing all that, right? Why include it in the same statement? Savage. She added:<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, I neglected to add the most integral ingredient to spiritual wellness\u2026Finding a higher power. A power greater than yourself.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Reading between the lines? Joss can\u2019t get his inflated head around that notion! Wow!<\/p>\n

The response got likes from Buffyverse leaders\u00a0Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/strong> and\u00a0David Boreanaz<\/strong>. And Ray Fisher RTed it as well, writing his own complementary statement, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cJoss Whedon had nearly two years to get his story straight. He\u2019s likely spent tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of dollars on PR, crisis management, and coaching. And his response to the allegations is: \u2018They all misunderstood and\/or are out to get me \u2014 also my mom is sexy\u2019 ???<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He added:<\/p>\n
