Scalpers have been charging literally THOUSANDS per ticket to the highly anticipated\u00a0Weekends With Adele<\/em>, which were scheduled to begin on Friday, January 21. Tomorrow.<\/p>\n

And now, with just one day\u2019s notice, the\u00a0Hello<\/em> songstress is here to tell you that the sky has fallen, and it\u2019s just not going to happ<\/a>en.<\/p>\n

Video: TV Host Issues On-Air Apology For Not Listening To Adele\u2019s Album Before Interview<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a tearful\u00a0Instagram<\/strong> video, the artist apologizes to her fans with a heavy heart, beginning:<\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I\u2019m so sorry, but\u2026 my show ain\u2019t ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She explains coronavirus is largely to blame, but that\u2019s not all:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you. But we\u2019ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew, half my team is down with COVID. And it\u2019s been impossible to finish the show.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Fighting back tears, she continues:<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t give you what I have right now. And I\u2019m gutted. I\u2019m gutted. And I\u2019m sorry it\u2019s so last minute. We\u2019ve been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out, and we\u2019ve run out of time. I\u2019m so upset and I\u2019m really embarrassed and I\u2019m so sorry to everyone that\u2019s travel<\/a>ed again. I\u2019m really really sorry. I\u2019m really sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Adele finishes the video message by assuring fans that the show will go on\u2026 eventually. She promises:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re on it, we\u2019re gonna reschedule all of the dates, we\u2019re on it right now. I\u2019m gonna finish my show, and I\u2019m gonna get it to where it\u2019s supposed to be now for you. I\u2019m so sorry, it\u2019s been impossible. We\u2019ve been up against so much and it just ain\u2019t ready. I\u2019m really sorry. I\u2019m sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What\u2019s missing is any mention of refunds. Seats were expensive enough beforehand, but of course there\u2019s only so much room, and the shows sold out immedia<\/a>tely. Like we mentioned above, tickets on the secondary market have been going for OBSCENE prices \u2014 we\u2019ve heard as much as $30,000. Yes, really.<\/p>\n

As for those who paid top dollar for their tickets, it seems those poor souls may just be out of luck.<\/p>\n
