Melissa DeRosa, ex-Gov. Andrew Cuomo\u2019s top aide, lashed out at his accusers in a vicious tweet Thursday night that she later deleted.<\/p>\n

\u201cabout those \u2018victims\u2019\u2026aka witness tamperers & self-described \u2018Cuomo\u2019s Hoes,’\u201d she wrote, linking to a news<\/a> report on the latest release of testimony in the investigation of her former boss by Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James\u2019 office.<\/p>\n

DeRosa \u2014 who\u2019s stuck by Cuomo since he was forced to resign over a sexual harassment scandal \u2014 testified during a probe into the allegations that she heard him refer to her and several other aides as the \u201cmean girls\u201d in his office.<\/p>\n

Last year, The Post exclusively revealed that DeRosa was recorded secretly admitting to Democratic lawmakers that Cuomo\u2019s administration covered up the nursing home death toll from COVID-19 out of fear it would be \u201cbe used against us\u201d by federal prosecutors.<\/p>\n

Her Thursday night Twitter<\/a> attack followed the latest release of evidence from the probe that led James to accuse Cuomo of sexually harassing 11 women, including nine current or former state employees.<\/p>\n

DeRosa included a link to an Albany Times Union report<\/a> that said four female Cuomo aides \u2014 including Brittany Commisso, who\u2019s accused him of groping her in December 2020 \u2014 allegedly engaged in a group text chat named \u201cCuomo\u2019s Hoes.\u201d<\/p>\n

That assertion came from the ex-husband of one woman, who told investigators, \u201cI don\u2019t have proof of this.\u201d<\/p>\n

DeRosa\u2019s \u201cwitness tamperers\u201d remark appeared aimed at former state economic development official Lindsey Boylan, whose allegations against Cuomo sparked his sex harassment scandal.<\/p>\n

Last week, Cuomo lawyer Rita Glavin alleged that James \u201chad evidence that Ms. Boylan was tampering with a witness\u201d when she sent an encrypted, self-destructing text message that \u201cthreatened\u201d Empire State Development CEO Howard Zemsky.<\/p>\n

Boylan\u2019s lawyer responded by accusing Cuomo and Glavin of \u201ccontinuing their smear campaign of Ms. Boylan to punish her for being the first of multiple women to expose the governor\u2019s misconduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an interview broadcast Thursday on Albany public radio network WAMC<\/a>, Glavin was asked if Cuomo \u2014 who denies any wrongdoing \u2014 planned to sue any of his accusers for alleged defamation.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll tell you this: The governor has asked me to look at all of his legal options and I\u2019m doing that right now,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd I don\u2019t want to get ahead of myself, but this has been terribly, terribly frustrating.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
