{"id":397397,"date":"2022-01-21T04:11:42","date_gmt":"2022-01-21T01:11:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/biden-acts-much-more-like-putins-puppet-than-trump-ever-did\/"},"modified":"2022-01-21T04:11:42","modified_gmt":"2022-01-21T01:11:42","slug":"biden-acts-much-more-like-putins-puppet-than-trump-ever-did","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/biden-acts-much-more-like-putins-puppet-than-trump-ever-did\/","title":{"rendered":"#Biden acts much more like Putin\u2019s puppet than Trump ever did"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Biden acts much more like Putin\u2019s puppet than Trump ever did<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Back in 2017, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.the-american-interest.com\/2017\/02\/24\/trump-isnt-sounding-like-a-russian-mole\/\">Walter Russell Mead wrote<\/a>: If Donald Trump \u201cwere the Manchurian candidate that people keep wanting to believe that he is, here are some of the things he\u2019d be doing:<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<ul>\n<li>Limiting fracking as much as he possibly could<\/li>\n<li>Blocking oil and gas pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Opening negotiations for major nuclear arms reductions<\/li>\n<li>Cutting U.S. military spending<\/li>\n<li>Trying to tamp down tensions with Russia\u2019s ally Iran.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trump, of course, did none of those things, and indeed the entire \u201cRussian collusion\u201d narrative that the press pushed for his entire presidency has been thoroughly exploded.<\/p>\n<p>But someone is doing these things, right now. I\u2019m talking, of course, about Joseph Robinette Biden Jr., who at his shambolic Wednesday press conference gave Russia the go-ahead to invade Ukraine, though it was quickly walked back by backwalker-in-chief Jen Psaki, his press secretary.<\/p>\n<p>The last time something like that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ened was in 1950, when Secretary of State Dean Acheson gave North Korea what appeared to be <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/dean-achesons-fateful-speech-and-the-outbreak-of-the-korean-war-on-june-25-1950\/\">a green light to invade South Korea<\/a>. The result was the Korean War. One hopes Biden\u2019s blunder will not bear similar consequences.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s just the latest. Gas prices were low. The Keystone Pipeline, furthermore, promised to bring oil from Canada to the US heartland (\u201cethical oil\u201d activists call it because it doesn\u2019t come from a country dominated by dictators or Islamist enemies). Biden canceled that.<\/p>\n<p>Gas prices have since skyrocketed, and people are unhappy, such that even <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/sections\/money\/2022\/01\/18\/1073053108\/the-movement-to-stick-inflation-blame-on-biden\">NPR has noticed<\/a> the Joe Biden \u201cI did that!\u201d stickers sprouting on gas pumps everywhere as ordinary Americans vent their frustrations. As for energy independence, Biden was reduced to begging OPEC to pump more oil to drive prices down. (OPEC, shockingly, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/coronavirus-pandemic-joe-biden-business-economy-prices-7d567fede0ad9619a32def9a4b02eb37\">declined<\/a>.) High oil prices help Russia of course, since it\u2019s a major oil producer.<\/p>\n<p>And while Biden was blocking pipelines at home, he did manage to give US approval to the Nord Stream 2 pipeline connecting Russian gas fields to Europe, giving the Kremlin a huge cash infusion that will strengthen its position immeasurably while making Europe dependent on President Vladimir Putin, who could freeze them out by turning a few valves.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/Putin-3.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Russian President Vladimir Putin\" class=\"wp-image-20909516\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/Putin-3.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/Putin-3.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/Putin-3.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Russian President Vladimir Putin is marching right ahead with his planned invasion of Ukraine as President Biden dismisses any use of military deterrence.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">AP Photo\/Alexander Zemlianichenko<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Basically, Biden\u2019s energy policy involves weakening the United States and strengthening Russia.<\/p>\n<p>As for nuclear arms, the Russians and the Chinese aren\u2019t even interested in arms-control agreements. They\u2019re rushing ahead with new and advanced nuclear-weapons programs while <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/biden-team-weighs-killing-trumps-new-nuclear-weapons\/ar-AASIegt\">Biden looks at canceling<\/a> similar US programs.<\/p>\n<p>To be fair, Biden hasn\u2019t cut US military spending. However, as August\u2019s Afghanistan debacle illustrates, he has managed to make the US military ineffective. The Chinese and the Taliban mocked us on social media after that disastrous defeat. Joint Chiefs chair Gen. Mark Milley, meanwhile, seems more focused on racial education and pronouns. (And there\u2019s a swell new video out of Army women dancing in barracks. For one thing, Putin seems to be good at hiring competent help.<\/p>\n<p>But I am saying that Biden is acting in destructive ways that are difficult to distinguish from what he would be doing had he in fact been put in office to weaken the United States and strengthen Russia, Iran and other American enemies.<\/p>\n<p>To the checklist above you can add a deliberate strategy of sowing racial and class division, a spending plan that anyone with half a brain could see would lead to inflation and an exploding national debt, accompanied by a push for regulatory policies that would constrict supplies and drive prices up further.<\/p>\n<p>The people who voted for Biden mostly thought they were voting for some sort of return to normalcy. We haven\u2019t gotten that, unless you regard the Jimmy Carter years as normal. As a consequence, Biden\u2019s plummeting in the polls. But we\u2019re still stuck with him for at least three more years.
