Some of this is enthusiasm over finally getting mobile sports betting,\u201d said PlayNY.com analyst Mike Mazzeo.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">New York&#8217;s four mobile sportsbooks combined to handle over $603.1 million in the first week, per <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NYSGamingComm?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NYSGamingComm<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The state averaged $86.2 million in wagering per day \u2014 over twice as much as New Jersey did when it broke the monthly handle record of $1.3 billion in October \ud83d\udcb5 <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ydABdExIOC\">pic.twitter.com\/ydABdExIOC<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Front Office Sports (@FOS) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/FOS\/status\/1484677439829676033?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 22, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>\u201cSome of this is heavy promotion from the operators. The bottom line, though, is New York is playing in a league of its own.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gaming Commission Brad Maione said, \u201cWe have been pleased with the handle [amount wagered], which indicates interest in mobile sports wagering and accessibility to the licensed providers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So far, so good said state Sen. It\u2019s a solid start and we have the National Football League playoffs and the Super Bowl coming up,\u201d Addabbo said.<\/p>\n<p>The early reports found:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Caesar\u2019s Sports Book led the pack, posting $257.7 million in bets, generating $22.7 million in gross revenues.<\/li>\n<li>FanDuel recorded $200.4 million in bets and $14.1 million in revenues.<\/li>\n<li>Draft Kings reported $134.4 million and $10.9 million in revenues.<\/li>\n<li>BetRivers enticed $10.6 million in wagers and $446,696 in revenues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe will see if NY can keep up these massive numbers as the sports calendar turns and promos for new users start dying down,\u201d PlayNY.com said. \u201cHowever, this report certainly inspires encouragement as the state has the potential to become the No. 1 sports betting market in the US.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/ny-gambling-598-1.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1024\" alt=\"Sen.
