Save the best for waaay last!,\u201d Forte said. \u201cBut tonight it\u2019s all about me,\u201d he promised, as Wiig came out to steal his thunder, getting \u201cmore applause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Executive Producer Lorne Michaels then appeared with next week\u2019s slated guest host Willem Dafoe, saying there had been a mistake and he meant to feature the dramatic actor Saturday, but his phone\u2019s auto correct mistakenly texted \u201cWill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Several pre-taped MacGruber bits reunited Forte with Wiig and Ryan Phillipe as the MacGyver-esque character\u2019s  assistants. MacGruber was more interested in burning masks and using unsanctioned COVID-19 treatments than deactivating bombs. It\u2019s a powerful reminder to always test your cocaine for fentanyl,\u201d fake co-anchor Michael Che cracked.<\/p>\n<p>Forte and Wiig teamed up again to play a hokey country-and-western duo whose songs kept getting more avant-garde as their infomercial continued.<\/p>\n<p>Italian glam rockers M\u00e5neskin energized Studio 8H with lively performances of the Four Seasons\u2019 tune \u201cI\u2019m Begging\u201d and their hit \u201cI Wanna Be Your Slave.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSNL\u201d was slated to return to the airwaves next week with Dafoe on hosting duties and musical guest Katy Perry rounding out the season\u2019s 12th episode.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
