{"id":398469,"date":"2022-01-24T17:32:05","date_gmt":"2022-01-24T14:32:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/emma-thompson-on-going-nude-at-62-its-very-challenging\/"},"modified":"2022-01-24T17:32:05","modified_gmt":"2022-01-24T14:32:05","slug":"emma-thompson-on-going-nude-at-62-its-very-challenging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/emma-thompson-on-going-nude-at-62-its-very-challenging\/","title":{"rendered":"#Emma Thompson on going nude at 62: &#8216;It&#8217;s very challenging&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Emma Thompson on going nude at 62: &#8216;It&#8217;s very challenging&#8217;<\/strong>&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/01\/emma-thompson_82.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all\" \/><\/p>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Emma Thompson is no longer afraid to bare it all.<\/p>\n<p>The 62-year-old British actress talked about the \u201cdifficulty\u201d of shooting \u2014 and rehearsing \u2014 scenes in the nude \u201cat the age that I am,\u201d she said, for her new film \u201cGood Luck to You, Leo Grande.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was the Academy Award-winning actress\u2019 first time doing full frontal on set. <\/p>\n<p>Thompson also said that the \u201cdreadful demands\u201d of women in her industry remain, in spite of recent women\u2019s movements. <\/p>\n<p>The forthcoming comedy stars Thompson as a teacher who hires a sex worker to help her achieve her very first orgasm. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s very challenging to be nude at 62,\u201d she <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/emma-thompson-good-luck-to-you-leo-grande-nude-scene-rehearsal\/\">told Entertainment Weekly<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t think I could\u2019ve done it before the age that I am,\u201d Thompson said of a scene that sees her drop her bath robe in front of a mirror to reveal her full form. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd yet, of course, the age that I am makes it extremely challenging because we aren\u2019t used to seeing untreated bodies on the screen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing has changed in the dreadful demands made upon women in the real world but also in acting,\u201d she added. \u201cThis thing of having to be thin is still the same as it ever was, and actually in some ways I think it\u2019s worse now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Thompson leads alongside \u201cPeaky Blinders\u201d actor Daryl McCormick in the new film, out later this year.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
